Anne Martin was raised by her single mother in the GOOF, or the
Golden Oaks and Oak Forest neighborhoods of Houston, Texas. Trying
to juggle her barre teaching commitments, finishing a marketing
degree, and caring for her only parent who has developed memory
issues leaves Sam little time for pleasure with her good-looking,
persuasive boyfriend. Her stress levels skyrocket when she
discovers late notices that have accumulated, and the home she was
raised in goes into foreclosure. Her mom's inability to remember
how to access her life savings takes Sam down a trail of confusion
and discovery in the crypto world.
